1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this vending machine and purchasing fragrance sprays, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all purchases made through the vending machine operated by AuraMist, ABN: 20 795 741 237 ("the Operator"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the machine.
2. Product Use
The vending machine dispenses small quantities of cosmetic fragrance designed for external use only. Customers agree to use the product responsibly and in accordance with normal cosmetic usage practices.
- Apply the fragrance externally on skin or clothing only.
- Use the product only in the small quantities dispensed by the machine.
- Customers must follow all instructions and warnings displayed on the machine and set out on the Terms & Conditions page and the Usage Instructions page.
3. Safety Notice
Customers must follow all safety instructions and warnings displayed on the machine and set out on the Terms & Conditions page and the Usage Instructions page. Do not:
- Spray fragrance into the eyes
- Ingest the product
- Spray directly into the face
- Misuse or tamper with the machine
The product is for external use only. Customers with known allergies to fragrances, sensitivities, or skin conditions should not use the machine.
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not responsible for injury, irritation, loss, or damage resulting from misuse of the machine or failure to follow displayed safety instructions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies the customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
4. Automated Service
The vending machine operates as an automated self-service system. The Operator takes reasonable steps to keep the machine functioning correctly, but occasional technical issues or interruptions may occur. These may include payment terminal issues, network outages, temporary technical faults, or power interruptions.
5. Refunds and Consumer Rights
Customers may be entitled to a refund or a replacement, or other remedy where required by the Australian Consumer Law. Refund requests may be made in situations such as:
- Payment being processed but no spray being dispensed
- A confirmed machine malfunction
- A payment terminal error
- Another fault giving rise to rights under applicable consumer law
Customers requesting assistance may be asked to provide:
- The date and time of purchase
- Machine location
- Payment amount
- Payment method
- Description of the issue
- Proof of purchase, where available
Refund requests will be reviewed using available transaction records and machine data. A refund is not generally available simply because a customer changed their mind, did not like the scent, or no longer wanted the product, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of the vending machine or the fragrance product.
Where liability cannot be excluded, the Operator's liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies the customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
7. Machine Misuse
Customers must not damage, tamper with, interfere with, or attempt to access the machine's internal components or misuse the spray mechanisms. Any deliberate damage, tampering, or unlawful interference may result in the customer being liable for repair costs or other loss suffered by the Operator.
8. Privacy
If a customer submits a refund request or contacts the Operator, the Operator may collect personal information for the purpose of:
- Investigating the issue
- Responding to the request
- Processing a refund or other remedy
- Maintaining service records
The Operator will handle such information in accordance with its applicable privacy obligations and internal business practices.
9. Changes to Terms
The Operator may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version may be published on the Operator's website or made available through the QR-code landing page.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
11. Contact Information
Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the AuraMist perfume vending machine. Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights a customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy if a product or transaction does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply under law.
When a refund or other remedy may be available:
- Payment is processed but no spray is dispensed
- The machine malfunctions
- There is a payment terminal or transaction error
- The product is faulty or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees
- Another issue arises that gives the customer rights under the Australian Consumer Law
When a refund is generally not available:
- The customer changed their mind
- The customer simply did not like the fragrance selected
- The customer no longer wants the product after purchase
- The issue was caused by misuse of the machine or by failure to follow the Terms & Conditions, safety instructions, or Usage Instructions
- The law does not otherwise require a refund or other remedy
How refund requests are assessed:
Refund requests are reviewed using available transaction records, machine data, payment information, and any information provided by the customer. Where appropriate, the Operator may offer a refund, replacement, or another remedy consistent with the Australian Consumer Law. Proof of purchase is helpful, but a customer may still provide another form of proof of transaction where a receipt is not available.
Refund Instructions
Customers seeking a refund or assistance should contact the Operator as soon as reasonably possible after the issue occurs. Refund requests should be sent to: auramist.contact@gmail.com
Please include the following information:
- Date and approximate time of purchase
- Machine location
- Amount charged
- Payment method used
- Brief description of the issue
- Proof of purchase or proof of transaction, where available
Assessment process:
The Operator will review the request against transaction records and available machine information. If the request is approved, the refund will generally be returned to the original payment method, where possible. If further information is required, the Operator may contact the customer using the details provided.
Usage Instructions
This perfume vending machine dispenses a small amount of fragrance for external use only. Customers must follow all instructions and warnings displayed on the machine and set out on this page.
How to use the machine:
- Select your preferred fragrance
- Complete payment using the available payment method
- Wait until the button starts blinking
- Position your wrist, neck area, or clothing a short distance from the spray outlet
- Press the blinking button to dispense the fragrance
- Use only the amount dispensed by the machine
Important safety instructions:
- For external use only
- Do not spray into the eyes
- Do not spray directly into the face
- Do not ingest the product
- Do not place any part of the body directly against the spray outlet
- Do not tamper with, hit, shake, or misuse the machine
- Children should only use the machine with appropriate supervision
- Customers with known fragrance allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions should not use the machine
If accidental contact occurs:
If fragrance gets into the eyes, rinse cautiously with clean water immediately. If irritation continues or you feel unwell, seek medical advice promptly.
If there is a machine or payment issue:
If payment is processed but no spray is dispensed, or if there is another machine or payment error, please follow the Refund Instructions on this page.
